Chicken Noodle and Rice SoupYou will need : Three sliced carrots ; Three sliced celery stalks; 1 medium chopped onion; a whole chicken; 4 chicken bouillon cubes; Salt, pepper to taste, minced garlic ( 1 loave) ; 2 or 3 bay leaves; 8 ounce of noodles and 1 cup rice. Remove skin from chicken and discard. Then take the insides out of chicken and place in a large saucepan. Break apart the rest and also put in pan. Then Cover with water and cook throughout, about 1 to 2 hours. Then remove the chicken. And cool broth. Cut up the chicken, and place all ingredients except the noodles and rice in soup. Add about 2 quarts of water. Skim fat off broth and add to pot. Cook for approximately 1 hour. Lastly place in add noodles or rice for fifteen minutes. |
